Roche Bobois thrives on creativity and loves to amaze by calling on talented designers to create exclusive collections that can be sometimes surprising but always fashionable.

Following their collaboration with Jean Paul Gaultier, Sonia Rykiel Maison and Missoni Home, Roche Bobois has given carte blanche to Maison Christian Lacroix to imagine a capsule collection of twenty furniture pieces; a nod to fashion and “French art de vivre”.

Designed for Roche Bobois’ “Nouveaux Classiques” collection, these exclusive furniture pieces and decorative objects were created by Sacha Walckhoff, creative director of Maison Christian Lacroix. This “Maison Lacroix” collection includes a dining table and chairs, small furniture pieces, lighting, and rugs.

The materials are luxurious and sophisticated using precious wood, shiny brass and silk screen printing on lacquered wood. An engraving of Arles in the nineteenth century, a town close to the heart of Maison Lacroix, adorns the cabinets and sideboards of the collection. A double-sided screen features the same town of Arles and a fantastic lush garden collage, mixing prints and photographs of the past and today.

Armchairs and ottomans upholstered in storm blue velvet, imprinted with a traditional pattern from the Provence region, invite relaxation. Meanwhile, the dining room chairs dressed in ivory and jet black stripes evoke the silhouette of mannequins from Haute Couture workshops.
